CONSIGNMENT INQUIRIES

Broker Schedule: TWC utilizes a sliding scaled based on the sale price of the vehicle in question. In addition to this percentage, we also charge a nominal fee of $100 per month for storage and advertisement of the vehicle. As the effort in selling a $30,000 car is often comparable to that of selling a $300,000 car, our percentage increases as the sale price decreases.

Cars up to $35,000 - 12%
Cars $36,000 to $75,000 - 10%
Cars $76,000 to $125,000 - 8%
Cars over $125,000 – 6%

An important distinction to note is in selling a vehicle through a major auction house. Typically, 10% of the sale price is assessed to both the buyer and seller, only netting the buyer 80% of the price at which the vehicle is sold.

We encourage owners to deliver all items they would wish the next owner to have, in this way assuring maximum value. We also specfically request any records and receipts of cosmetic and mechanical work completed on the vehicle, ownership history, articles the vehicle may have been featured in, as well as spare parts, tools, and service and/or owners manuals.

These items present quite a value-added feature to the buyer, and are extremely valuable in our process of selling the vehicle. While the Consignor will keep the original title, TWC will need a copy and proof of insurance for the automobile.
